Your Intuition Is Your Guide

Are you conscious of your inner voice? Do you take notice of it? (By the way, I’m not referring to the person who criticizes you!) I’m referring to the one that softly whispers ideas and suggestions to you, the kind that the other voice may try to silence by exclaiming, “Are you crazy?” This necessitates stepping outside of our comfort zone, which must be avoided at all costs (even if the cost is living a life of mediocrity instead of the one of your dreams).

Unfortunately, the latter is the one that most of us are aware of and pay attention to. The gentler one, our intuition, is frequently overlooked (if we can even hear it at all). The tragedy here is that our intuition is the one who truly has our best interests at heart. Our shadow voice (the louder, more aggressive one) also cares about our well-being, but in a protective way.

What’s the harm in protecting us? I know you’re thinking it! It restricts us and, in the end, erodes our soul’s well-being. And, believe it or not, this isn’t good for our physical or emotional well-being! If you are unfulfilled on a soul level, you will gradually and imperceptibly develop a nagging feeling of general discontent, which can have a rippling effect on your mood, self-esteem, and, ultimately, your physical and mental health. But that’s a topic for another article…

If you listen to your intuition, it will gently push you beyond your comfort zone, but never further than you are capable of. It will both challenge and support you. It is always looking out for your best interests, on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It will not only gently nudge you in frightening directions that will yield enormous and unimaginable rewards, but it will also gently nudge you when it is time to stop or turn around.

If you’re not used to listening to your intuition, it will take time and practice to learn to do so. You may be unsure which voice is which at first (especially since your shadow voice often sounds very reasonable), and using your intuition is similar to using your physical muscles. You must use it on a regular basis for it to be in the desired shape.

So, how do you better understand your intuition? First and foremost, begin to be aware of any hunches, feelings, or ideas that arise. Take note of the voice that goes with it. Is it gentle, positive, and encouraging?

It’s more likely to be your shadow voice if it’s aggressive, domineering, or employs scare tactics. Is it a loud and threatening warning if you get a feeling of forewarning? (shadow). Or an obstinately knowledgeable one? (intuition).

The scary thing about trusting your intuition when it’s new to you is that it’s not based on logic, and what it suggests to you often cannot be justified logically. However, with practice and trust, you’ll learn that knowing something is the right thing to do is in your best interests. It will be easier to ignore your own and other people’s shadow voices (who will fear for your best interests on your behalf).

Starting small is the key to developing this essential trust in one’s intuition. If you’re not familiar with your intuition, don’t make life-changing decisions based on it (you might still be confusing your two inner voices). Allow your intuition to guide you with smaller decisions and wait for the gentle knowing feeling. Don’t expect an immediate response, but keep an eye out for it; it will come, and you’ll know when it does.
As you tune in more and more, you’ll notice that you suffer less and less from worry or anxiety. You’ll have faith that everything will work out fine, and you’ll often find that it works out even better than you could have imagined!

7 Keys to Unlocking Your Intuition

Have you ever had the experience of having a huge hunch that something is about to happen and, to your surprise, that intuition was eventually translated into reality?

Intuition is when you have strong feelings about something but don’t have a logical reason for them. It manifests itself in three ways: clairvoyance or “the third eye,” clear sensing, and feeling through listening.

Clairvoyance is the ability to see beyond what your eyes can see. This is when you are aware of what is going on somewhere.

Sensing clearly is essentially the same as having a “hunch” or “gut feeling.” This is the time when you are overcome by a feeling that you cannot explain and all you can say is “I just know.”

Feeling through listening, on the other hand, is the ability to “listen” between the lines. Intuition can also occur when a specific sound, such as a car honking or a bird tweeting, triggers an intense feeling.

Only a few people are said to be gifted with intuition. Astrologers even claim that people born under the Scorpio or Pisces signs are born with a natural intuitiveness that borders on E.S.P. However, studies are sprouting up left and right proclaiming that anyone can develop intuition.

You may be wondering why there is a need to develop intuition. Why not accept your current emotional and psychological state? First and foremost, intuition fosters effective communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it frequently prevents you from hurting those you care about because you are intuitive enough to understand them. Intuition also allows you to be far more creative than before. Intuition entails freeing up more creative juices for any form of expression. Finally, intuition has the ability to heal. This healing power is not physical, but rather involves delving deep into your soul to remove any negative energy that has become lodged there.

With that said, are you ready to cultivate your intuition? Here are some ways to unlock this gift:

1. Hypnosis

Yes, have yourself hypnotized. Hypnosis is more than just watching a pendulum swing back and forth. You can strengthen your intuition by self-hypnosis or by using hypnotic programs.

2. Meditation

Meditating entails finding inner peace. If your mind and heart are clogged with too much baggage and hurt, you won’t be able to quiet that part of you that might eventually initiate intuition. There are numerous ways to meditate, such as taking a yoga class or simply practicing some breathing exercises.

3. Think positive!

A worry-free, fear-free state can do wonders for your intuitive ability. By remaining positive, you attract good energy that may be able to detect impending feelings and events.

4. Just let go.

What exactly does this mean? If you are on the verge of making a major decision, let go of all inhibitions and go to a quiet place where you can discover where letting go has led you. Sometimes you just have to listen to your inner voice, and that voice will not come out unless you let go.

5. Never expect it.

What exactly does this mean? If you are on the verge of making a major decision, let go of all inhibitions and go to a quiet place where you can discover where letting go has led you. Sometimes you just have to listen to your inner voice, and that voice will not come out unless you let go.

6. Believe in your first impressions.

When you meet someone for the first time and have the impression that he is a little too arrogant for your liking, chances are that impression is correct. In most cases, first impressions are brought about by intuition.

7. Stay happy!

See? To be intuitive, all you need to do is be happy! Happiness attracts enormous power, which includes intuition. Your motivation for using your intuition must be happiness and contentment. Given that premise, intuition will come easily to you.

Intuition is useful because it can sometimes lead you to something that you would not have discovered otherwise. Many lives have been saved solely through intuition. Decisions are easier to make when armed with this gift.

Develop your intuition now and you will reap benefits you could never have imagined.

Learn How to Trust Your Intuition

Unlock Your Inner Wisdom

Developing intuition starts by realizing you have it already. If you’ve ever had a hunch about something, that was intuition. Intuition is just your mind using more than what you are consciously aware of. But can you trust your intuition? How do you improve it?

Developing Intuition in Three Easy Steps

1. Recognize it and encourage it.

2. Study it to make it more trustworthy.

3. Give it good information to work with.

Try to find areas in your own life where you naturally intuitively operate. What is something that you are just naturally good at without studying? What is an area where you trust your gut and it is almost always right? That is your intuition speaking, continue to listen and nurture it.

Of course, intuition can also be a warning device. When you get the sense “something isn’t right here” that is your intuition talking and you’d be smart to pay attention.

Have you ever considered purchasing a car and then you start seeing them all over? Looking for and recognizing a thing trains your mind to find more of it. The same process will happen if you watch for your intuition – you’ll start to see more of it.

Unfortunately, a strong hunch can be for irrelevant reasons too. If you were hit by a yellow taxi as a child, you might have “intuitive” hunches not to get into yellow taxis for the rest of your life. So even learning to recognize your intuition and encourage it may leave you wondering when to trust it.

Study Your Intuition!

Start questioning your hunches. Study your strong feelings about that taxi, and you might say, “Oh, it’s just my fear of yellow taxis.” Get in the habit of paying attention to and studying your intuitive feelings.

Where does your intuition work best? If you’re always right about your intuitive stock picks, give a little credence to them. On the other hand, if your hunches about people are usually wrong, don’t follow them. Just pay attention more, and you’ll be developing intuition about your intuition.

Give Your Intuition Good Information!

Your skill, knowledge, and experience determine the potential effectiveness of your intuition. Learn enough about a subject, before expecting good hunches about it, or before trusting the hunches. Work in the area you want more intuition in. When enough information is in your mind, it will go to work for you with or without your conscious participation, so feed it well.

Recognize your intuition and you’ll have hunches and ideas more often. Study it and you’ll learn when to trust it. Give it good information and you’ll be repaid with good hunches and ideas. This is the simple formula for developing intuition.
